Suggest Remedy For Cut In Vagina During Sex Causing Heavy Bleeding
I was having intercourse with my husband on fri and somehow was cut deep and it s very painful!!!!!! It bled soooo much it looked like murder scene and no leave blood on my underwear and bed. When I wipe (pat) I have to pat it and there is always lots of blood, does it seem like I need stitches or can this heal on it s own?? Please help?!!

Hello,
You are suffering from deep cut in the vagina while doing penetrative sex with husband and are now experiencing deep pain and bleeding a lot. You have had either very rough penetrative sex, or did it when you were not wet. You are suggested to go for a longer foreplay and use vaginal lubricants before penetrative sex.
If you are 40 plus than you can take vitamin E rich food or Evion - 400mg, once on alternate days for 7-10 days for better lubrication. Get clinically examined by a gynae, get assessed for bleeding, it should heal by itself. If required you will be given stiches. Other medical conditions that can cause dryness of vagina and other symptoms are hormonal imbalance, thyroid problems, PID, or any other ailment.
Presently, you can apply ointment Soframycin on the area affected. You can take a short course of antibiotics like Augmentin or doxycycline, twice daily for 5 days. To get relief from pain you can take acetaminophen or Combiflam, one SOS when needed. Stay away from addictions if any.
