Suggest Remedy For Constipation With Joint Pain

We have had our 3 year old for about two years, she has been very constipated since we got her, we have her on a very high fiber diet, and natural stool softeners that bring little help for relief. For the past few months she is now complaining of arm, leg and tummy pain that comes and goes. I have read a lot about growing pains and her pediatrician doesn t think they are related or it is anything to be worried about. Not knowing her family history what do you think?

Hello,

Constipation is not the disease condition unless it is being proved clinically till then it is due to less water in take the first thing is encourage the child for drinking water, cut down the oily food or fat containing food, and no need to be over conscious or worry if child does not pass the stool for couple of days.

On tentative basis Sorbitol liquid can be tried.

Hope I have answered your query, let me know for further assistance.
