I deeply believe that i may be suffering from ICP. I had a blood test yesterday and my doctor told me that the results would be back in the morning. i phoned the surgery this morning and the doctor was not in and the results had not been commented on so they asked me to phone back the next day. however I was seriously worried and wanted answers so nagged for another doctor to review the results the same day. When i got a phone call later on off the receptionist all that she stated was that i was anemic and had been prescribed iron tablets. i then asked so does that mean what they were looking for came back all clear. she replied with i cant tell you anymore than what has been wrote . So my question is. would iron levels AND bile acid levels be shown in the same results? i m concerned that the other doctor did not know what they were looking at specifically. please reply. 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow and very worried with stories i am hearing regarding ICP.
Hi I did review your concern. Can you please elaborate on what is the full form of ICP as ICP is not a standardized pneumonic in hematology. As far as pregnancyanemia is considered i would advice you to take iron and folic acid capsules regularly. Also eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits as they are rich in iron and minerals. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any more questions or concerns. Wish you healthy and happy life ahead.
