Suggest Remedy For Bad Sore Throat & Swollen Canals In The Ear

I was tested negative for strep yesterday. Pharyngitis is the dx he gave me. I have had a sore throat this bad once; 10 years ago when I had strep and had to have my tonsils and uvula removed. It is getting worse and nothing seems to help. Ears are canals swollen but aren t red. My Jose and neck are now tender to touch

Hi , Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum .

If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you
Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids ,
analgesic Paracetemol + Ibuprofen combination ,
Macrolide Antibiotic azithromycin &
Tab Vitamin C twice daily to promote healing.
You will need to see your doctor to get a prescription.
