Suggest Remedy For Abdominal Pain Post Consumption Of Postinor 2
Hi doctor, I am from an Asian country. I am not pregnant and my last mens was about two weeks ago. I never drank Postinor 2 before. I had unprotected sex on the 18th of January at about 11pm and was released into. I drank 2 Postinor 2 pills at the same time at 19th of January at around 3.30pm and few minutes later I am experiencing some abdominal pains like menstrual cramps. I have the pain for more than 19 hours. Is this the side effect of Postinor 2? If it is, usually, how long will I have the pain before it go? Should I see my doctor? As I drank the pills after 15 hours, are the pills still effective for pregnant prevention? If the pain becomes severe, may I take paracetamol to ease the pain? Thanks.

The pain started immediately after taking the Postinor 2 pills. So, in order to control this pain, taking tablet Ranitidine 300 mg should help you.
Take cold milk with it. Do not massage or foment abdomen. You can continue taking it twice a day. Take non spicy, bland diet.
Visit your doctor in case the pain is not controlled. You may need injectable pain medicine. The Postinor 2 pills are in the blood for about 8 days and are mostly followed by a withdrawal bleeding.
