Suggest Remedies For Trouble In Left Ear After Getting Slapped
Hi I was in a fight and was slapped on the left ear very hard a day ago. Pains have ended but i am still not hearing properly it songs kind of like as if i'm under water in that ear. I don't know if it would continue healing on its own because it was paining an slight bleeding but all has stopped except the hearing part. plzz help what to do?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that due to physical trauma to the ear there has been injury to the eardrum leading to perforation and reduced hearing, hearing sounds or Tinnitus and pain and bleeding was also due to it.. You should not delay as it will heal on its own or not and to evaluate the depth of the injury you need to consult an Otolaryngologist and get an Otoscopic examination done and in case if there is a small perforation the physician can advise you to take antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and decongestants.. If there is a large perforation surgical patching has to be done.. Avoid exposure to loud sounds and prevent swimming or trauma to ear..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr. Honey Nandwani Arora.
