Suggest Remedies For Swelling On Right-sided Lip

Yesterday, I woke up with the right side of my lip swollen, though no pain. No explanation. No injury. No bite, as far as I can tell. Today, I feel it more and there is a sort of white section within the swollen area and the side of my tongue is sore and it looks slightly swollen and looks kinda rough.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your have symptoms of swelling on right-sided lip which seems to be due to allergic reaction caused by food item, some medication, and accumulation of inflammatory exudation in the lip causing formation of a swelling leading to angioedema.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit oral physician/ dermatologist and get it examined. Avoid excessive sun light exposure and avoid touching or pricking it. Apply cold compresses. Do not apply pressure over the swellings. Take antihistamines such as allegra or benadryl to fasten relief. Drink plenty of water.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
