Suggest Remedies For Shortness Of Breath And Chest Pain Post An Injury
A deer came out and the roads were wet. I was on Davis mill road. Back road pitch black and it s deer season and my tires are really bad and so are my brakes. There was a sharp left turn when this happened and I had to quickly dodge the deer and when I did my car spun out and I lost control and hit a tree. Right now I m experiencing shortness of breath and and chest pains

Pneumothorax refers to a pathology affecting the pleural cavity, a virtual space between the lungs and the chest. Pneumothorax is designed when this cavity fills with air or gas, causing a detachment and retraction of one or both lungs. The pneumothorax can be spontaneous (its origin is then unknown), traumatic or secondary to a lung disease. Most commonly, pneumothorax is unilateral. It is characterized primarily by severe chest pain associated with difficulty breathing.
Since you have just undergone a car accident, and that probably the airbag has struck your chest, and as you are experiencing shortness of breath and chest pains we can suspect a pneumothorax or a rib fracture with pneumothorax, or something else.
In all cases an emergency consultation is required and a chest x-ray will allow us a rapid diagnosis and adequate management depending on the damages diagnosed.
