Suggest Remedies For Recurrent Viral Fever

Hello Doctor my son got viral infection and fever came twice a day after 10 to 12 hrs, this is a pattern from last 3 days. i consult of one doctor i was giving combiflam and cefixime oral suspension but i am not getting any kind of improvement. please suggest

Viral infection takes its time to resolve itself after it completes the cycle. Antibiotics does not effect viral infection. You did not mention age of your son? I would suggest you to give calpol suspension for fever after every 6hrs in case of fever and give ample fluids.

Report to hospital if:
> Condition does not improve in 3-4 days
> Any unusual symptom appears.
> Child becomes lethargic or unconscious
