Suggest Remedies For Recurrent Pus Filled Bumps In My Pubic Region

Hi, I keep having these bumps full of pus in my pubic area. They start hard and become tender after a couple of days, then I start noticing the pus mixed with blood on my underwear. I have never been sexually active and I usually trim my pubic area with a scissors to avoid in grown hairs which I am very prone too. My lymph nodes also keep on swelling up in the same manner. The bumps are not usually painful unless I touch or squeeze them. What could cause this? This has happened for about 2-3 years now and the bumps come and go , I would say every month or two weeks or so. Thank you!

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of recurrent pus filled bumps in pubic region which is because of folliculitis that is infection of hair follicles. It could be erythematous lesions with pus in center of the lesions and due to improper cleanliness. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist once and get it examined. Start treatment after proper prescription. You should take Amoxycillin in combination with clavulanic acid thrice daily. Avoid touching or pricking bumps with hand or any sharp object. You should take anti inflammatory drugs like nimesulide daily till you get good result. You should take antibacterial cream/ointment 2% mupirocin can be applied twice daily.
