Suggest Remedies For Persistent Insomnia

I am considering taking passionflower - I was diagnosed as a chronic insomniac several years ago. I am not a fan of prescription meds but tried several under the advice of my physician. None worked, so I don t think I should take meds that don t work. Is passionflower relatively safe? I want to try passionflower with no additional ingredients. Just want an opinion. Thanks for your time.

Hello,

Yes, taking passion flower (Passiflora) will be helpful in treating insomnia naturally. However, there are some combinations of sleep herbs that could enhance this effect (e.g. passiflora, aloe vera, valeriana, melatonin, etc). You can try them and see the effect.

Avoid taking caffeinated drinks in the afternoon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
