General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a heartburn. I suggest to continue using Zantac to lower the acidity levels in the stomach. I also suggest using Maalox which is an antacid three times a day. I recommend to avoid food that can trigger the symptoms such as spicy food or caffeine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
