Suggest Remedies For Pain In My Stomach, Abdomen And Sides

I have been treated for diverticulitis. 15 days in hospital on IV antibiotics (NG pump, morphine, catheter, etc) and 15 days outpatient on IV antibiotics. It hurts (stomach, abdomen, sides) when I sit but is better when reclining or lying in bed. I am not on pain meds or antibiotics now.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of diverticulitis, for which you have already got treated with IV antibiotics.
You still have pain i stomach, sides and abdomen particularly when you sit and gets better in reclining position indicates that you have an abscess or so in the abdomen related to the diverticulitis ans is troubling you.

I would advise you the following:
Get an urgent CT scan of the abdomen to get a confirmed diagnosis of the internal problem, consult a General Surgeon and get treated accordingly.
You may need a surgery.
