Suggest Remedies For Pain And Discoloration In Heel And Foot Post Knee Surgery
My husband had surgery form a torn leg , injured many veins and ligaments in leg . then he has had total knee surgery . he was ok but now having trouble with heel and a kind of blueish discloration on the inside of that same foot . he wont go to Dr and I am concerned
Bluish discolouration means sufficient oxygen cannot reach there. Do not panic, make him understand and please take him to the doctor/surgeon who operated him.
Cause he needs post surgical check up. It is very much essential in this case. The surgeon has operated on him and can do whatever is needed to. The surgical site has to be inspected (seen by the doctor).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
