Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, After reporting that I felt fatigued all the time, I went through a sleep study which revealed a minor case of sleep apnea. Last November, I was put on a CPAP machine and have been told my nightly incidents are virtually gone. Great! I m still tired all the time. I m 48, run 15 miles a week and do not smoke or drink excessively. Thoughts?
I would advise you to do some tests to make sure all is well. These would be: - CBC and ERS - TSH and FT4 - basic metabolic profile, including glucose levels - spirometry, ECG and a chest x-ray
If the tests come out normal then anxiety can be the cause of your symptoms and you may need treatment for this.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj General and Family Physician
