Suggest Remedies For Irregular Menstruation

Hi...I am bit confused and worried now... Last month on 15 October 2016, I skipped my period. I waited for 15 days so that my periods can start as I am having complaints of irregular periods. But till now I haven t get my period. I started to take ginette-35 from 10th november 2016 . But today i.e. 13th November 2016, condom break down during sex and I am worried that I would get pregnant. I have taken ginette-35 within one hour after this incident. What are the chances of getting me pregnant? Please doctor help me.

Hello,

First of all, you should do a pregnancy home test at least 5 days of the delayed period to see if you are pregnant or not. You can't start estroprogestative contraception pills without knowing if you are pregnant or not.

If the result is negative you can use progesterone-like hormones for 7days to help you get period. The period will come in 7days after stopping it.

Then the first day of the period you can start estroprogestative contraception pills and after five days on it, you can have unprotected intercourse without the risk of pregnancy.
