Suggest Remedies For Extreme Itching In The Body

Hi doctor, I was getting itching in my full body, I went to doc he gave me valtoval 1000mg tab , soapex,elosmooth lotion and zincovit tablet I am using all this for 3 days but itching got increased instead. Should I finish those or shall I go to doctor again?

Hi,

Extreme itching over the body can because of many reasons. Reactive process and hypersentivity to many things like food dust or even soap. This should be ruled out Fall bladder disease. How is the eyes any yellowness, urine. High levels of bilirubin due to fall bladder obstruction will lead to extreme itching of the whole body.

Tests to confirm:

- Abdominal Ultra sound
- CT Scan abdomen
- Full hemogran to rule out any infection
- Liver function tests to check the level of bilirubin in the body

You need to consult gastroenterologist and dermatologist.
