Suggest Remedies For Difficulty In Swallowing During Menopause

Hello,
Please help. I am 46, going through the menopause, with very few symptoms.
I have found for the last year or so, difficulty in swallowing, and have a feeling that something is constantly stuck in my throat.
Two years ago, I suffered an emotional and physical trauma in my life, which I am coming to terms with, and thought that the lump may be due to anxiety.
Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Though the cause may be psychological as you guess... still I would suggest to exclude-
Sever anemia/thyroid swelling/ toncilar ,adenoids causing it.
Consult your family doctor , he will examine you and advise few investigations followed by specific treatment. OR
He may refer you to- ENT / endocrinologist/haematologist fer specific treatment.
Thanks.
