Suggest Method To Terminate Pregnancy
hello doc, i'm a female 22 years 3-4 weeks pregnant ( 1st day of last mensuration cycle was 26 days ago ) . I ran 2 preg.test strips with positive pregnant result. I wanna abort and have procured 12 tablets of 200mcg (microgram)each. I wanna take the medicine orally , could you please advise me the on how many pills to take for how many time periods. In my country it is illeagal to abort so thats why i cannot consult a doctor. Healthcare Magic seems to be able to help me ? thank you. Understand your concern
Sorry to say that you can not take misoprostol with out the advice of gynecologist. It should be taken under supervision of gynecologist after confirming intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan.
Home use can cause serious side effects like excessive and prolonged bleeding, excessive cramp, incomplete abortion, infection and abnormal development of pregnancy in failure.
As you are underweight, there may be chance of more complication due to blood loss.
Misoprostol dose: 800ug misoprostol should be put under the tongue till it get dissolves and then chew it after 30 minutes, if no bleeding, another two dose should be taken at interval of 8 hour under the supervision of gynecologist.
Abortion process will start with in 30-45 minutes after using last pill (sometime delayed for 72 hour) and will complete in 4-6 days.
Post abortion USG should be done after 14 days to confirm completeness process of abortion.
