Suggest Medicine To Control High Sugar Levels

Around 10 years I am effected by Diabetes and taking necessary medicines after consulting with family physician . One of the medicine such as Gemer 2 taking twice a day .One before break fast and another before lunch . But still sugar level remains around 230. Please advise for normal sugar level.

Hello. Apart from diet control and good exercise you will need your medications optimised. Some patients may need insulin. I would suggest you get your hba1c done. If too high then once daily insulin will be good. If a1c is not too high you can add drugs from the DPP 4 group. Monitor frequently with a glucometer. Take care.
