Suggest Medications For Pimples

Hellow,Dr

I am a teenage girl and am having a problem of excessive pimples growing on my face. I have encountered this problem after using Veet Waxing cream since last month and I dont know what to do now!
Is there any way I can do to get rid of these pimples on my face?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain pimples can occur due to causes like oily skin, clogged pores, bacterial infection, inflammation , hormonal imbalances and side effects of certain crams and cosmetics..
In your case it seems to be due to side effect of veet hair removing cream..
Another thing that you should take care of is to check whether certain chemical cosmetics are meant to be used on face or not before you proceed for using the same..
Veet is however not meant to be used on face..
As of now you should start dong cool compresses over pimples and splash cool water over the face as it will help in reducing inflammation and regress the pimples..
You can wash your face with Salicylic acid containig facewash..
You can apply a combination of gels containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl peroxide..
You can apply Adapelene gel at night..
You can also avoid applying any kind of skin cosmetics and can only apply Apply Aloevera gel for lubricating the skin..
You can exfoliate your skin twice a week using a gentle scrub..
Drink plenty of water and take a nutritious diet..
In case of no resolution in a week consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated...

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
