hello im 29 yrs old african american who just found out i have hbp it was 176/119 its coming down just wanna know would i have to take meds the rest of my life im planning on starting a family next year would that have effect on my baby and can i tke any home remedies. thanks

hello, thanks for your query, 170/120 mmhg should be evaluated by a physician . u need to stop smoking , alcohol. wt loosing program for obesity, salt restricted diet, exercises, avoid junk foods and fatty foods. kindly visit a physician for farther evaluation and treatment. all the best. take care.
