my daughter age is 15 months she is having running nose with cough and alternate fever with temparature varying from 99.9 - 98.5. we given calp0l 1 ml in the morning and afternoon for cold we give relent syrup 5 ml as my doctor suggested. will u suggest any extra care to be taken to control the fever.
Hi I have gone through your complaints.its quite common to have acute respiratory infections in children.cold ,cough and fever indicate upper respiratory infection.in addition to drugs ,saline nasal drops , stream inhalation indirectly if possible like( bathing the baby after someone bathed with hot water) and tepid sponging for high fever are advisable.dont worry it takes time to reduce.consult Dr imediately if baby is breathless ,not responding to you or turns blue.if any doubts stil feel free to write. Thank you Regards Vasundhara
