Hello doc. I am of 28 year. My marriage is on 7 dec. I generally have my cycle 2 or 3 days before the date. Its probably 12 of this month. I want to prepone my periods so that I can attend my own marriage hassle free. Please tell me when can I start taking pills and for how long? And for how many days I can prepone it.
I would advise you to postpone the menses rather than preponing them. The bleeding after the pills cannot be predicted precisely. Hence to have hassle free marriage, take oral contraceptive pills. Start the pills at least 7 days before your expected date of the menses; i.e. before 5 December. Continue these pills daily till you complete your honeymoon. Then you can discontinue the pills after which you will get withdrawal bleeding within 4-7 days.
I hope this helps you and you follow my advise.
