Suggest Medication To Cure Sleeping Disorder

Doctor,i have sleeping disorder as i am not getting fall asleep early in bed,it will take 1 to 2 hours to get asleep,and mind always thinking,if there is an happiness it is difficult to sleep,if there is any sadness also difficult to sleep,this problem is since last 7 -8 years,
please help me to get out from this problem.if any sleeping aid please suggest me which i can use for long time.or any sleeping tablet which is not dangerous to be take.

Welcome to HCM.
You mind keeps running all the time and you have difficulty in initiation of sleep.

I dont think you require any medication at present for sleep.
But i have few suggestions for you:
Avoid day-time naps, quit smoking and alcohol if you do, dont take tea, coffee at bedtimr, take a warm water bath at bedtime, dont keep lying on bed for more than 20minutes if you are unable to sleep.leavr the bed and take a light walk in your balcony.
Practice relaxation exercises like deep breathing and meditation.
If sleep does not improves with this, then drugs like ativan are used to induce sleep under psychiatrist's supervision.
