Suggest Medication For Severe Cough In Infants
Hi.. My son is 2yrs 2 months old. He is having cough from past 2 days. Doctor has prescribed him Ambrodil S 6.5 ml. He asked to check for 1-2 days and if the cough is still whooping then asked to give omnacortil syrup 5ml along with Ambrodil S. Is that safe to use both? Is there any antibiotics to be given to my son?

when is the cough more in the night or day?
you can give him ascoryl 5ml 3 times a day
is there any flem being produced when he coughs and if so what colour is it?
I would advise you to get a chest X-ray done t see if thee is any chest infection.
once your X-ray is done you can come back for a follow up
