Suggest Medication For Severe Abdominal Pain Due To Gastritis

I have extremely painful abdominal pain. It has veen coming and going for 2.5 years now. Started off only happening every couple of months it now happens between 2-7 times a week. Each episode lasts between 2-8 hours. Usually happens about an hour or two after eating. But has also happened first thing in the morning before ive eaten anything, doesnt appeared linked to a certain food/group, can eat something 2 times and be fine yet the 3rd time I end up in agony. The attacks vary in severity but when im having a bad one I cant stand up straight and have to take shallow breaths. I have occasional nausea with the pain but never vomiting. No tenderness on palpation during or inbetween attacks. No relief from passing gas or excreting. No pai killer touches the pain, hot water bottle eases it slightly sometimes. No weight loss, no diarrhea. Have had bloods done for celiac, h.pylori, lfts, u&es, amylase, fbc, esr. All negative or in normal ranges. Have had abdominal ultrasound came back clear. Had OGD showed mild gastritis but dont think this could cause the level of pain I experience. I generally have a high pain threshold. I cant cope anymore, im scared to eat anything in case it sets it off. I really need to know what this could be. Please help

Hello ,
I had gone through your question very diligently and I really appreciate your concern
At the outset, I would like further information for better assessment
if possible uplaod me all the reports
your age and relevant medical history like diabetes or any other disease
are you taking any medicines?

In my opinion you should follow these guidelines
Avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food, avoid smoking and alcohol.
Don't skip meals
take small and frequent meal
try to avoid stress and anxiety
you should take plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as lots of fluids

I would also advise you to take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids for 10 to 15 days.
if it doesn't help than testing for H Pylori infection and its treatment.

hope this answers your question, please feel free to discuss further
wishing you good health
I find this answer helpful
