Suggest Medication For Recurring And Spreading Red Patches On Skin

I have some small red patches on my skin, one on my chest, one on my back and one on my arm. I can also feel another starting on my shoulder. I ve seen my doctor twice and she s given me some cream as she says it s a ringworm infection. The first time she gave me one tube, the second she gave me two tubes. It seems to almost go and then come back. Is there any other treatment to get rid of this.

Hi,

I feel it can be allergy to the clothing material you wear/excessive sweating at the affected area..the dampness such created helps fungal infection.

Wearing loose cotton clothes, taking frequent wash to avoid sweating, using antifungal powder frequently .avoid sweating & using ointments advised would take a long continuous treatment to cure the infection.

Non healing rashes need oral medication in addition to local management. Please consult a dermatologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
