Suggest Medication For Pain And Swelling In Thumb

I cut my thumb last week, Sat. The nail is half cut off along with the skin on the tip of my thumb. I was given antibiotic shots in my thumb last week. I have seen a doctor again today and was given Tylenol with codeine but my thumb won t stop thrombin and pussing. What can I do?

DEAR FRIEND
you need to take systemic antibiotic and need be drainage of the pus from the abscess which has formed in the thumb.
i would suggest please revert to your treating physician and discuss the issue out

Hi,
It seems that there might be having infection after injury producing pain and pus formation.
Go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Clean local part with antiseptic lotion and dress it with antibiotic cream.
Ok and take care.
