Hi, I m 20 yrs ol. I have suffered from hidradenitis suppurativa since puberty. Although doctors have seen some lesions on my thigh and stomach area they dismissed it without really giving me a cause. I was never able to bring myself to tell them that these boil like things were also on my buttocks, groin, underarms and breasts. I ve lost weight recently (about 30lbs) and while I don t get the huge extremely painful ones under my arms anymore I still have them everywhere else. I take antibiotics for acne but they have done little for these lesions.... Is there something that I can do... this affects my everyday life... I am extremely embarrassed to tell a doctor.
