Suggest Medication For Headache During Breastfeeding
Hallo, I am breastfeeding month 8, and was taking mini pill for 3 months but I stopped because I kept on having headache. Am at day 21 since I stopped the pill, and I now have brown discharge and little tint of red blood for 3 days. Am kind of confused if it s pregnancy symptom, or infection? Please help
Bleeding can be a sign of menstruation, complicated pregnancy or infection. You will first need to have a urinary pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. If the test is negative you will need to watch how the bleeding will be in the next few days. If it is as your usual period then very likely you are having your periods. If the bleeding is for a longer time or in different amount compared to your usual period then you will need to see your doctor and have a gynecological exam.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
