Suggest Medication For Frequent Vomiting Due To Stomach Upset
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... My daughter is 16 and since she was 5 yrs old she has had a nervous stomach. We have had her checked out but no extensively and only because the doctors she has seen have never been too alarmed over it. Now adays it hurts atleast 5 times a week and for no apparent reason. She also throws up almost every morning for the past 5 months. She had a blood test but for a staff infection but nothing came back negative... Any idea on what this could be????
* As per my surgical experience, the chronic vomiting since age 5 can be due to definite pathological reasons as diaphragm related disorders, GE junction laxity, partial narrowing of 2nd part of the duodenum or so forth.
* The detailed evaluation with upper GI endoscopy and CT scan of the abdomen & pelvis are a best-recommended line of action to move further for the diagnostic approach.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
