Suggest Medication For Ear Ache With Got Flashes And Excess Saliva

Hello. I have had a painful throat for 6 weeks with occasional earache, hot flushes and excessive saliva and pain on swallowing and talking.Laryngoscopy hasn't shown anything abnormal. I have had antibiotics, mouthwashes/gargles,anti reflux meds. Analgesia and anti inflammatories have not done any good as I still have this pain. Do you have a solution?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have ear ache with got flashes and excess saliva . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query , but in your case the symptoms are due to both sore throat and acid reflux . Era ache is due to infection that has spread from sore throat to ear through eustachian tube . Hot flashes are probably due to hormonal changes , dysfunction of hypothalmus and hyperthyroidism are other causes . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist , gastroenterologist and endocrinologist for proper examination of respective problems . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics . For now avoid eating spicy and heavy food specially at night , do war saline gargles and drink plenty of water .
