Suggest Medication For Dermatitis And Eczema

I have a rash that pops up all different areas of my body. It looks like somebody scratched me multiple times and they re raised and bumpy. They burn and itch as well. I ve been seen at a walk in clinic for it twice and they said it was dermatitis and eczema. The lotions, prescription hydrocortisone, and prednisone gave had no effect. It s been several weeks since the diagnoses.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have dermatitis and eczema, well this is very common problem and mainly due to allergic reaction, hormonal changes , stress, oily skin and excessive exposure to sun. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and very effective. Apply vitamin E before going to bed to fine texture of skin. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe tretinoin ointment and antibiotic like clindamycin. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables also drink plenty of water. Exfoliate your skin with non comedogenic exfoliant once a week to remove dead skin.
