Suggest Medication For Cough And Puffiness With Red Spots Under Eye

my son has a cough and under his eyes are red and puffy with small red spots. I thought it maybe his allergies but I have gave him his allergy medication for about a week now with no change. Then this morning he started running a fever.He is three years old and weighs aroung 30 lbs.

Hi,

Is there any discharge from eyes or stickiness on getting up from bed? Any breathing difficulty? Cough, red eyes and fever suggests an upper respiratory infection. Since it is already 1 week, probably this is bacterial, and will need antibiotics. I used to give Amoxyclav or Azithrymycin along with eye drops for such cases. Your pediatrician will guide you. Meanwhile, give him Acetaminophen for fever and an antihistamine like Levocetirizine for cough.
