Suggest Medication For Chronic Constipation
My 4 year old son was diagnosed with chronic constipation as he had been having constant runny poos and then bouts of constipation. He was prescribed Movicol. He was taking 1 sachet each day but is having constant runny poos since september and now has lost half a stone so have reduced it to 1/2 sachet every 2 days but still the same. (this is what doctor said to do) now am at a loss at what to do as I feel as soon as my boy eats he poos so not getting any goodness into him

For the child of age of 4 years old if not passing the stool so this may not be constipation and this is nothing to worry because this is not the pathological condition, at the most Sorbitol syrup can be tried this is the hypotonic solution increase the motility of guts, hope this helps.
