Suggest Medication For Chest Pain And Muscle Discomfort

HI,I lost a dearest person about 5weeks ago and since then I feel uncomfortable around the chest. Sometimes I feel muscle discomfort on parts of my body eg my left leg or my right back even though I was doing no physical activity, which I treated with ointment. I ve been losing sleep too but the lack of sleep didn t give me a headache which is weird. Normally I would feel a headache whenever I sleep less than 7 hours. Last Saturday I went to a doctor and he prescribed me Concor 2,5 as my heart rate was 90 (I m 34 years old). I ve been taking it for 3 days so far and the prescription is for 15days. Just now, using a digital blood pressure machine, my heart rate was read at 65. Should I continue taking Concor?

HELLO
welcome to HCM. from what information you have given, what i can deduce is you are facing POST TRAUMATIC ANXIETY. Its natural thing we as feel sad for our loved ones.
Doctor advised you concor 2.5 just to relieve your anxiety and decrease your pulse rate. If you were my patient i would dig out more about pain like:
-When did pain started?
-Can you please locate the man by your hand?
-Does pain radiate to the arm, jaw or other places or not?
-Are there associated symptoms like sweating, nausea?

Don't worry, it seems to musculoskeletal pain.
Continue your medications (concor) for the prescribed period as it will help you get out of anxiety stage. Beside this use paracetamol 1tab twice daily for 3 days as it will relieve your physical pain.
If in doubt you can do ECG anytime from your local physician
