Suggest Medication For Acute Stomach Pain With History Of AFIB And Hernia

I suddenly came down with an acute stomach and upper left side of my body ache last night. It feels like I was hit with a bowling ball. The pain is now nearly 24 hrs without ebbing. I ran a fever of 99.9-100.1 but that has dropped down to normal. I belch a lot. I have atrial fib and I once had a hernia behind my belly button repaired at my appendectomy but the surgeon said it probably wouldn t hold because he just stitched it, no webbing used. I recently was on Optifast and lost 90 lbs in 6 months. I weigh 261 now. I am diabetic.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read facts of your query and reviewed it in context to your health issues submitted in your query.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query the reply of your query is-
Your current health issues seem to be due to -entrapped belly button hernia with incarceration of belly button hernia. This possibility is suspected out of the fever accompanied with the acute stomach pain.
You need to check with your Physician and rule out other causes leading such complaints.
With obesity and diabetic built of yours, chances of failed stitch in belly button causing incarcerated belly button hernia.
Hence Other causes-as cited above- need to be ruled out,by verification with Physician and Surgeon.

Do's-
Consult with Physician/Surgeon who would investigate history and physically examine and USG abdomen and stool examination to fix the cause of such a pain .
Keep on Liquids x 3 days time
Tab Ciplox-1 x 2 times a day x 7 days to control infection.
Tab Bentyl- 1 x 2 times day x to control enteritis pain.
This would fix the acute stomach pains amongst the above or other possibilities.
You need to treat it with Physician/Surgeon, which should be done on priority and urgently to avoid further complications.

This would resolve the complaints of your's.

Constant follow-up with local family or specialist Physician/Surgeon for long term would give you long remissions in time to come, which would depend on meticulous follow-up treatment of your health concerns.

Just don't worry and be patient and co-operate with your doctors, till you verify with your attending doctors.
For early recovery-please follow above do's which would resolve your complex health issues.

Hope this would help you to treat your health issues in the best way possible.
