Suggest Medical Treatment For Burning Sensation On The Groin

Hi, 27 days ago i engaged in sexual relations with a girl i had been speaking with for less than a week. i had unprotected oral sex wherein she performed fellatio on myself. we also kissed. we also engaged in protected vaginal intercourse for a short time. The next day i felt itching on my thigh, i left it for a few days and went to the doctor, they advised me that there was nothing wrong and to be on my way. that weekend everyone at home got sick and i also got sick and had a flu which affected me for no more than 2 days. After the doctor advised me that there was nothing on my thigh, the itching went away, i had a shower and then noticed a small bump on my lip. i went to the doctor and they told me that there was nothing wrong. my freak out calmed down, i went home and then i started feeling an irritation on my penis. 2 doctors examined it and said it was normal. 10 days later i had a blood test done which came back negative for HSV 1 and 2. I had calmed down a little bit but when my mind was left to its own i would freak out again. i went back to the doctor, he prescribed me valium which calmed me down and said we ll do a swab test on my penis (15 days later). results came back negative for herpes. I still have a burning pain on my groin which seems to flare up the more i think about it !. that is the only thing which is freaking me out at the moment. i havent any signs of blisters, ulcers or any lesions. The reason why i m so worried is because i just got back with what was my ex fiance and now of course my fiance again and im just so worried !

Hi,

If all the test came back negative, since you said you have a burning sensation, it can be neuropathy. Check for spinal injury or diabetes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. S.R.Raveendran, Sexologist
