Suggest Management Of Depression, Aggression With Social Issues
hi i think my brother has a mental health problem i can give you the symptoms and hopefully you will have an answer. depression, compulsive liar, agresive, thinks the world is against him, antisociable. because of this he sits in front of the computer all day and closes himself of from the world. He also drinks very heavy.
He is having symptoms like depressive symptoms, compulsive lying, aggressive, thinking that everyone is against him (paranoid ideation), anti-social behaviour etc. He usually confine himself in room on computer and don't interact much with others. He also drinks a lot.
After reading the symptomatology I can comment that most likely these symptoms are occurring due to some Psychotic episode or Mood disorder especially mania. Paranoid symptoms, anti-social behaviour and poor social interaction etc are mainly pointing towards psychosis.Other possibility is some personality disorder.
Consult a Psychiatrist and take expert opinion regarding his condition. Aggressive behaviour can be decreased by giving mood stabilises like Sodium valproate, carbamazepine or low dose antipsychotics. This will help in early recovery.
Thanks, hope this helps you
