Suggest Homeopathic Remedies For Severe Diarrhea

I had to use a suppository 3 weeks ago for constipation. Right after that I started having diarrhea and passed a lot of mucous. I have now hat diahrea 4 times a day for three weeks. I have been taking Imodium AD daily to keep it somewhat under control as well as eating a very bland diet. Is there anything else I can do at homeo clear it up?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You are probably having non-infectious diarrhea. For that, only symptomatic management is to be done.

Maintain hydration with lots of water. Take Vital Z powder with water to maintain electrolyte balance as well. Cooked oatmeal help in soothing the stomach. Avoid excess spicy food intake. Within three to five days you will recover, if not then stool routine micro examination needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
