Suggest Home Remedies For Itchy And Dry Right Nipple After Surgical Abortion
I had a surgical abortion almost 2 weeks ago and now my right nipple is very dry (flaky) and itchy. It is extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to know whether or not this is a normal occurrence and if there are any at home remedies that will reduce the irritation and discomfort?
Hello dear Understand your concern It is due to hormonal imbalance. It will disappear with in 3-4 week as body will get adapted. But you should go for USG to confirm that abortion is completed, no gestational sac is remained. Do hormonal profile: E2, P, FHS, LH, Thyroid, HCG
Advice for you
1. Life style changes - 30 min regular walk - Wear supportive pad bra - use of Ice pack - Relaxation exercise: breathing technique - Low fat diet - High fiber intake - Decreased salt intake - Multivitamin intake - Reduce alcohol and caffine 2. Gentle massage with prime rose oil 3. Acupuncture therapy
Hope this may help you. Best regards Dr. sagar
