Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
After taking vescepa I have a problem that I think is related to the med. morning incontinence. After taking this med for a couple of years at reduced dosage it was suggested by my dr to increase the dosage to 4caps a day verses the two I had been taking. Within two weeks this problem became a Real problem. I immediately stopped vescepa all together. The problem immediately got better but did not completely go away. Where s the submit button?
Vescepa is an oil related to oils found in fish/plants. It is not considered to have effects on the kidney or bladder. Incontinence frequently goes up and down. The drug level and its effects peak in about a day. The two week period doesn't fit with the drug amount in the body (which wouldn't connect to 2 weeks); the incontinence was going up and down and didn't stop when the drug stopped. The connection between the two is not clear.
