Suggest Diet To Follow While On Clindamycin

Clindamycin - prescribed for severe abcess of the tooth. What foods, drinks,over-the-counter,prescriptions should I not ingest. I was taking anti-diahrea over-the-counter medication, however, stopped when I started taking this medication. What would be your answer. From my dentist taking 150mg. 3x daily for ten days. Then he put a refill on it.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Clindamycin can cause dysbacteriosis. There is no restriction in diet. As you had diarrhea you can take easily digestible foods. You can take yogurt, kefir or curd ,rice , steamed potatoes, bananas etc. Taking probiotics will help you to prevent dysbacteriosis. I would recommend sacharomyces boulardii for this.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
