Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Gas problem possibly due to change in gut bacteria or associated gastritis.
2. Include probiotics and yoghurt in diet. Take whole grains along with fibers from fruit and vegetables. Also take plenty of water.
3. If it does not reduce after 10 days, you need to watch your diet to look for any food, which is increasing gas problems. Along with it, take proton pump inhibitors to reduce gastritis.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
