Suggest Diet Changes For Correcting Increased Esr Levels

Hi doctor,my age is 60(female)My esr level has increased to 48mm.please suggest me what i should eat and what food i must avoid.i checked with my doctor,he told me some light treatment to be done on my right shoulder level every alternative days.please help.

Please try to understand that diet has nothing to do with ESR.
Increased ESR of 48 is suggestive of some chronic problem, which needs to be investigated. Please discuss this with your Doctor. I would advise you to go for blood tests - routine/ liver function, thyroid function/ kidney function- ultrasonography of abdomen and X-ray chest as a minimum of investigations in a patient with increased ESR.
ESR has only then a prognostic value, meaning to repeat it to see whether it is reducing with the proper treatment of a diagnosed disease.
