Hi,

You may be having acanthosis nigricans. If you are obese, reduce the weight which will help to improve the skin condition of neck and axillae. However, you consult the the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.

Do not use Melacare cream because it contains hydroquinone, a notorious chemical which might cause side effects. You may apply retinoids acid gel 0.012% on the affected areas at night with Kojic acid gel application in morning.

Cleanse the area with face wash containing glycolic acid. Take vitamin C tablet daily for few months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilyas Patel,
