Suggest Better Treatment For Cold For My Kid

my child is 3 years old weighing 10 kg,she is suffering from cold ..symptoms=coughing at times and slight congestion,Dr. has prescribed ASCORIL LS(levosalbutamol,ambroxal,guiaphenesin)

is it safe to give this drug combination?will it not give too much sedation?

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Ascoril does not cause sedation but this is not for treatment of cold.
Kolq syrup helps in relieving cold.
Steam inhalation and local instillation of saline nasal drops help relieving congestion and nose block.
Avoid cool drinks and ice creams and cold atmosphere.
