Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have depression and are on Carbidopa/Levadopa, amantadine for Parkinson's Disease. You have just started taking Azilect along with other drugs. Azilect is Reselegiline is a MAO inhibitor and can also help in depression. But taking common antidepressants along with this drug may result in serious side effect. As per my opinion SSRIs can prove useful in your depression and these drugs will also not interact much with other Parkinson's drugs. Sertraline is relatively safe drug and can be used without fear. Consult your psychiatrist for prescription of this drug.

Thanks, hope this helps you
