Suggest An Alternative Medication For Klonopin Taken For Anxiety

Hi, My name is Breanna Passmore, My question is this, I am on Abilify (Bipolar Disorder Manic), and Klonopine, I am still rather restless and taking Klonopine helps with anxiety and panic attacks but does not help with the restlessness. Is there something else I should bring up to my next Psychiatric appointment? If So What? Also, what s the best way to resolve the restlessness (Inability to sit still, fidgeting etc.)

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There are many alternatives available out of which serotonin reuptake inhibitors and REM cycle sleep regulators are major agents with excellent clinical response in many of my patients.
* Till the consultation with the psychiatrist in follow up, you can opt for the deep breathing exercises, YOGA for finest results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
